WHY DO WE OFFER CHILDCARE?

Open Circle seeks to be an inclusive community, and we especially desire to be inclusive of people of ALL ages in everything we do. Everyone is welcome in our large group gathering. However, we also recognize the value in providing multiple experiences during our gatherings, especially for young children and the parents of young children.

We offer Childcare because we want to offer age-appropriate and inclusive environments where children can experience safety, love, and fun. Childcare is offered for children ages 1 - grade 6 during each gathering. As our Childcare evolves, we will continue utilizing a practice and story-based approach.

YOUR CHILD’S SAFETY IS IMPORTANT TO US, TOO

We work hard to provide a safe, loving, and fun environment for your children and we know that dropping your child off can be overwhelming. That’s why we have taken extra caution when it comes to your child’s safely. We maintain secure check-in and check-out procedures, require our staff to complete background checks, and execute processes that maintain a safe environment in the childcare rooms. At check-in, one of our staff members will assist your family in checking in your child. When they are done, you will receive two tags; a name tag for your child with a security code printed on it, and a claim tag for you with the matching security code. Only an adult with this matching claim tag will be able to check your child out of Childcare. If it’s your first time to Open Circle, you can expedite the check in process by filling out the form below.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

Transformative Experiences: Our Childcare involves age appropriate experiences that are facilitated in a way that is fun and inclusive, and encourages your child’s growth as a human.

Designed for Parents and Kids: Childcare is offered at the same time as the Open Circle gathering. So while you are participating in the large group gathering, your children are experiencing programming that makes sense to them at their age level.

At Open Circle, our desire is to teach children they are created with goodness, without reducing spirituality to moralisms. We seek to provide loving care by creating an environment where children are welcomed and safe.
